This album was recorded at The Mouth in Austin, TX.

This is Get Set Go’s 2nd full-instrumental album.

This record was inspired by the table-top role-playing game, Paranoia. A game I bought when I was 12-years-old, back in 1985 and have played ever since. It is a dark, very dark satire with lots of death, lots of violence, and tons of laughs.

The world of Paranoia is a dystopic, Orwellian-esque future where humanity lives underground in vast complexes. Everyone is cloned and everyone has 6 identical clones. Life is cheap. The world is run by The Computer. The Computer is your friend. People are organized into security clearances. The most common clearance, the most common caste, are infrared clearance.

And then the clearances go (from lowest to highest) Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet, and Ultraviolet.

Each song tells a story. If you click the “info” button next to each song, I give you a little analysis of the songs. Just to show you how much work, thought, and effort went into each tune.

This album is mostly about the robots that work amongst the humans. I’ve drawn a lot of parallels between our present day and the world of Paranoia. So, this is an album without lyrics (mostly) that comments on the world we live in now and the world that seems to be materializing right before our eyes.

I hope you love it. I had a great time making it. This is my gift to you.
